SITBATICAL

So hello everyone. I notice that it's been awhile. Just thought I would update you on where I've been. I became aware recently that I've been going through the motions with a bunch of projects in my life. I got it that I need to take some time to check in and see where I really want to focus my energy. At last week's LifeWorks (my company) meeting, I told my team that I was going to take a few weeks away from all the business stuff to get clear about the future direction of the company. I playfully shared that I was taking a sabbatical from my own business. As it turns out the only thing I'm drawn to do is go sit on a beach and so that is what I plan to do. I shared this with my friend Dan Howard and he said it looked like I was really taking a sitbatical. That felt more appropriate. So I'm going to go sit and see what's next.

There is so much that I can share and teach from my last 13 years of being a life coach and facilitator and what I get now is that it is time to refine to see what is the juiciest thing that I want to share and teach about.

I will be checking in from time to time to give you updates as I have them. In the meantime, I suggest you take some time to see what it is you are really about. I'm getting that living in my genius means that I am continually refining who I am and what I'm about. So what is most important to you at this time?

Aloha...
Megan

Just want to say Aloha to you, too. I hope you find what you're looking for. I will be anxiously waiting to hear from you when you return from your sitbatical. In the meantime, I will be trying to see what it is that I'm all about.

Megan,

I remember one time you told me that one could serve her life purpose surfing everyday--that if surfing increased joy within her, then it increased joy within the world.

Here's to surfing--or just soaking up the sun. Here's to loving yourself and connecting...and to increasing the capacity for others to do the same.

I can smell the beach and hear the waves. I can feel the sun caressing my body. I can feel the water cleanse my soul.

Enjoy, Megan. Soak it up. You continually teach in all that you do.

I have such great love for you--you generate such great love!!

Funny... when I first read the headline, in my head I heard, "SitBacktical" and it totally made sense to me. I am imagining that I am in that same place... sitting back, taking an inventory and really wondering what IS it that I REALLY want to do with my life?!

I feel continually inspired to stretch myself, through the knowing of you. I feel blessed to be watching you stretch and grow and become. Through the watching and the experimenting of my own, I grow with you.

With love,
Angie

ps... good luck beaching it... remember, though, that sand in crevaces can be inconvenient and uncomfortable at times! LOL

Hey Surfer Girl,

I would imagine that about now you are feeling the wonderful drying effects of our great Utah climate.

Can't wait to see your tan and to feel your energy. Wondering about your learnings---wishing you great retention and peace.

Welcome back (not sure where your home is)!!
